About Specialized Mowing
Veteran Owned.
Family Run.
Since 2018.
We take on the vegetation management nobody else wants to bid — the steep, the soft, the overgrown — and we do it without putting a person on the hill.
Who we are
The Work Nobody Else Wants To Bid
Specialized Mowing LLC is a Veteran owned, family operated company. We started in June 2018 to offer municipalities, businesses and individuals the safest and most cost-effective way to manage vegetation on difficult ground.
Our machines are remote controlled and built specifically for terrain that defeats conventional equipment. That covers everything from routine grass and brush management through to heavy clearing — kudzu, and trees up to 6 inches in diameter, on inclines up to 60 degrees.
We take the physically demanding, labor intensive and genuinely hazardous parts of the job. You get the work done for less, and your crew never sets foot on the slope.

Twelve Kinds Of Ground Most Crews Turn Down
If it’s too steep, too soft, too overgrown, or too far from a safe place to stand, it’s the work we were built for.

Why it matters
Lower Cost. Lower Risk.
Steep ground is where grounds maintenance gets people hurt. Conventional mowers and tractors are built for level terrain — the weight sits high, tires break traction on a wet slope, and rollovers cause crushing injuries every season.
Because our operator stands at a distance on stable ground, the hazard that normally gets priced into steep work simply is not there. No rollover exposure. No workers’ comp claim waiting to happen. No crew somewhere they should not be.
And because debris is mulched on site and spread in place, there is no hauling, no tipping fees and no separate disposal contract to administer.
- SaferNobody rides the hill. The machine takes the grade so a person does not have to.
- FasterPurpose-built equipment covers ground that would otherwise be walked with hand tools.
- CheaperWe price steep work by how long it takes, not by how dangerous it is.
- CleanerMaterial is mulched in place. Nothing is hauled off site.
