Most contractors own one machine and stretch it across every job. We run a fleet matched to grade — from a 75 hp forestry mulcher that takes 8-inch trees at 60°, to an electric mower 21 inches tall that drives under solar panels.
Why more than one machine
The Right Machine Beats A Bigger One
A 4,000 lb tracked mulcher is the wrong tool for a finished park lawn. A finish mower is the wrong tool for six years of kudzu on a 55° bank. Owning both means we quote the job rather than the equipment we happen to have.
It also means the work gets done when we say it will. Three of our machines are rated to 60°, so a breakdown on one steep site does not stop the others — and two crews can be on difficult ground at the same time.
For a procurement officer weighing bids, that redundancy is worth asking every contractor about. Most cannot answer it.

Green Climber LV800 & LV800 Pro
The machines that take on ground nobody has touched in years. Rated for three to six years of overgrowth and trees up to 8 inches in diameter, on grades to 60° — and 60° across the face of a slope, not just up and down it.
A flail head with carbide teeth mulches everything in its path and spreads it in place. The undercarriage widens a further 400 mm on steep ground, dropping the centre of gravity and holding the tracks against the hill. A patented lubrication system keeps the engine oiled at angles that would starve a conventional one.
Owning two means the heaviest work in the fleet is never waiting on a single machine.

The machine we reach for when the job is near water or near traffic. Its hydraulic system runs on biodegradable oil, which matters on retention pond banks, dam faces and wetlands where a conventional leak is a reportable problem.
It also has the longest remote range in the fleet at 1,000 feet — three times some remote mowers. On a highway embankment that is the difference between an operator standing at the shoulder and one standing well back from the travel lane.
It is a hydraulic tool carrier rather than only a mower, so the same machine takes a flail head, a bucket for land clearing, or a blower and blade in winter. The controller has a one-touch emergency stop and shuts the machine down automatically if it is dropped.

Raymo Torpedo
Twenty-one inches tall, four-wheel drive, zero-turn, and completely silent. It drives underneath solar panel arrays rather than around them, which removes the hand trimming that normally drives the cost of a solar vegetation contract.
Being electric means no fuel, no exhaust and no engine heat between the rows — and quiet enough for schools, hospitals, cemeteries and sites with residential boundaries and noise conditions. Swappable battery cartridges keep it working through the day.
The deck we use for rough and solar work is protected by a steel frame with nylon bumpers, built for ground where contact with structure is a permanent risk.

The one machine in our fleet with an operator on board. It is rated to 30°, and we use it where a remote tracked mower would be overkill or would leave too coarse a finish.
Its articulating frame both pivots and oscillates, so it follows the contour of uneven ground instead of fighting it. With over thirty attachments it handles general grounds work through the year — mowing, aerating, edging, raking and snow removal.
We are specific about this on purpose. Everything else we own is remote controlled with nobody on the machine. The Ventrac is not, which is exactly why it never goes on the steep ground. Matching the machine to the grade is the whole point of running a fleet.

We Bring Our Own Transport
A flatbed truck and three trailers, including a 25,000 lb gooseneck sized for the heaviest machine in the fleet.
It sounds like a small thing until a job slips because a contractor is waiting on a hauler. We load, we travel, we unload, and we are working the same morning.
